I can tell you guys: getting sarcasm in a foreign language (which is what english IS to me!) is really hard... ;)

My South Korean friend has the exact same problem, I try to watch for sarcasm around him (I deliver witha pretty straight face and it throws English speakers sometimes, so poor Josh never can catch it)... but he's getting better. He now often delivers his own version of sarcasm which I miss frequently by underestimating him, lol

Good Morning,

I recently returned (I'm an oldy... like from pre-tram until AOS) and have tried getting my easyuo up and running with no success... I even used to write some simple scripts so I'm a bit at a lost as to why I can't get anything running.

I have downloaded EUOX V.236.... Fellow UOR's what must I do to get back into this!? I tried several approved scripts and each said error when I tried to start them.

Respectfully,
Chesapeake Casanova

If you tell us WHAT the error-message is, then we may being able to help.
However, ill post my 08/15-Canned message for this till then:

Most common problems with scripts and if they do not run as they should:
  • Be sure you have UO running as CLASSIC CLIENT
  • Be sure you have EUO running with ADMIN RIGHTS
  • Be sure your UO is NOT MODIFIED
  • Be sure your EUO is capable of handling the client (See update-status on http://www.easyuo.com)
  • Be sure you have set up your script accordingly to the setup-section of the script AND accordingly to the scriptthread.
  • Be sure you are not trying to run an OEUO-Script in EUO
  • Be sure you are not trying to run an EUO-Script in OEUO
  • Be sure your Antivir-Tool does not block or sandbox EUO.
  • Be sure you have rebooted your rig once if everything else fails

236 is the current version of EUO. 230 probably won't work with client 7.0.29.2

Most common problems with scripts and if they do not run as they should:
  • Be sure you have UO running as CLASSIC CLIENT
  • Be sure you have EUO running with ADMIN RIGHTS (Rightclick --> Run as administrator)

Also, Another thread tells something of a patch that hit last night or something in this timeframe. If you have a higher version of the client than 7.0.29.2 you have to wait for the update of EUO or OpenEUO.

If you have patched, then EasyUO doesnt work anymore for you at the moment.
See frontpage, the red box:
Quote:
EasyUO Patch Status
EasyUO is currently being updated for the latest client patch.
Please be patient and do not post about it on the forums or send PMs to the staff about it. Thank you.

This is an old build thread... lock it and throw away the key so it doesn't necro EVERY TIME the client number changes and EUO breaks.
