I'll def donate once I get some extra cash. UO just isn't fun w/o easyuo lol Great work and love what you do.
ps I would donate well for private scripting lessons if anyone is interested.

Sidenote: Would it be a big deal to upload the current working client.exe and make it downloadable in case someone like me messes up and doesn't back one up before patching? I've been offering ppl 30 mill upload one and send me a link but I haven't had any takers.

We will never offer client.exe to download. It is not our property and would be piracy if we did.
In our rules we clearly stated that: don't even ask for it!

Just save your client.exe just after you (intentionally) patched because the updated easyou is available.

What link are you referring too? Please give me the url or where you found it. There's nothing I see that's broken in my sig line.

Edit: Oh I see, my sig link refers to my library page, did you read further down? Probably not. I've included the paypal donation info at the top of my library page.

I don't really write scripts anymore, been inactive from UO for a good 5+ years. Although I'm willing to come out of retirement if the incentive was right. In looking at all the TurboScripts, the usage/downloaded stats clearly do not reflect the "donation" value. Yes, I know donation itself means you don't have to give a rats ass and send anything, but the amount of donations vs. download ratio is so lopsided. Over 1 million aggregate downloads for the Turbo Series and I've probably had about $1000 in total donated over a TEN year period. So about $100 a year for Scripts that have saved countless hours of time skilling up your crafters. If there was a mechanism to encrypt my scripts and require some form a registration/serial I'd have done it a long time ago. Maybe the new EUO will allow for that eventually and some of us that have stopped scripting would get back. Would people be willing to pay/donate $1 for a script that saved them 10-12 hours of keyboard hell? $5 for a 'package' deal of all TurboScripts? Maybe.. The amount would be so small you'd look quite silly complaining about it, but the total downloads/usage would more then make it worth it for me to become active again...

However, back to your request. I don't really do one-off script requests. The time involved to do that doesn't justify it. I'm an IT consultant/Web Designer and I get from $75-$125 an hour depending on the work. Are you going to pay me for 4-8 hours of work at that rate? Probably not.

I'm a firm advocate of this also. Bring euo into the 20th century where donations for use are the norm. ;) People are silly, they can't even IMAGINE the kinds of scripts we'd release if they donated on a per script basis... I'd release some of the craziest scripts they've ever seen. haha How else am I going to buy a Falcon Northwest before I die at 20k+ for a computer... and a 60" monitor.

Thanks you crazy nut! (And I say that with good intentions and all my love).

Flood (my Son for others that don't know) is full time College and also work part-time IT for the Karate place he trains at (4th degree black belt). He switched majors from becoming a Firefighter/Paramedic to a business major. More into the new games as well, I think he hopped on Alexandria a few days ago, but he hasn't play UO in quite awhile.

My company is hanging in there, it's a tough environment with many businesses hurting, but I go bat crazy when I see them leave for godaddy to save $10-$15 a month when they drop that in paperclips a day (well kinda). Yeah, lets go to a place hosting 10+ mil websites where they shove 10,000 websites a server, instead of staying with the local company hosting about 400. SUPPORT LOCAL. Oh well, it's a sore subject...

With that... Anyone easyuo-related (users/players/etc) that needs a website I'll match the $10 godaddy price for you. :) PM me if interested.
