I think it depends on how many bandages you are making. If you are in a secure house, then it doesn't matter if it drops to the ground - you simply pick these up and drop in your secure. If you are at a bank, where people can grab the resources and drop into their own bank, then you may want to break up the quantity that you create in a pass. Code: ;================================== ; Script Name: CutBandages.txt ; Author: Gaderian ; Version: 1.0 ; Client Tested with: 7.0.68.1 ; EUO version tested with: 1.5.1.332 ; Shard OSI / FS: OSI ; Revision Date: September 4, 2018 ; Public Release: September 4, 2018 ; Global Variables Used: ; Credits: ; Purpose: Take bolts or cloth from a secure, cut up and toss bandages back into secure. ; Requirements: 1) Scissors ; 2) a secure container with bolts or cloth to cut ; ; Revision history ;================= ; Version 1.0 ; Initial release ; ;=================================== ; Main functionality here { } { display ok You need scissors to do this - go get some in your main pack . Halting } { { } { { } } { } }
I have it set to a single bolt at a time, or a single piece of cloth if grabbing from the secure, because i wanted to make certain it still ran clean. It may need a modification for weight calculation or grabbing the 'rest of a stack' if you choose to change it. I didn't care about the end of my stacks and was willing to make a final cut up manually when I did this. You may need to modify the item types for bolts or cloth in case you have something that differs. If on a free shard, maybe scissors could be a different type, I suppose. Gaderian

So if the scissors are a different type, you just insert the right type and it should function correctly?

Yes: You just update this setup-line: set %scissors KAG to refelct whatever type your shard uses...

You need a script for a 2 step-process??? someone has obviously never cut 240k of bandaids to load up fountains before! with the weight you can only put about 100bolts in your pack at a time which limits you to 5k of bandaids per time.

True, but he asked for a script to - Cut cloth to bandages
Not a script to - Get bolts of cloth from secure chest - Cut the bolts to bandages - Transfer the bandages to a fountain
"You get what you ask for"?

Hey, if you want to have some fun, message Cheffe and ask him a stupid question, and don't explain it well. He loves that. lol

Step 1: Think twice about that. Step 2: If the answer is still yes, go to step 1

HAHAH I just saw this. Too funny. When I first started, I messaged Cheffe just one too many noob questions, on a number of occasions. I got verbally owned a couple times. Cause I'm dumb. And I don't read the wiki. haha And I always thought, huh, who better would know this answer without tons of reading, and be able to tell me in a few words or less that I'm an idiot, and give me the answer in as few words as possible so I understand. Thanks Cheffe!
