Hello.

I have a problem when using the command call. whenever I use the script call and after the called script is complete and I return via the exit command the returned to script starts going REALLY slow.

When trying to find the issue I found that the script is still running but when going through the script part by part with the F7 button I noticed that now the script goes from the top and reads through every line of the script and only uses the lines that are intended. so the script runs, just at a very slow speed.

Very odd (to me anyway).

Any thoughts on this? The called script is "ScanForJournalMsg.txt" Found in PSL. Maybe I should have posted the issue there but since other scripts I use do the same thing when using the call command I didn't bother.

Any advice appreciated!

Been reading some more. Using 3 clients at the same time does that have anything to do with it?

Really all I want is a sub that scans journal the past 50 lines or so to present.

If you F7, it always goes thru every line visually... Always. Never been different...

Check my Scanjournal-Sub. Nothing to call. Its a sub.

Instructions and example-code on how to use it are in the script as comments.

You can’t use F7 to step through the script that has been called. It will look like the script goes back to the start of the script with the call statement.

So I use F8 on any call statements when debugging.

Are you having an issue in your script or does the called script fail?
