Here is a good timezone-converter:
http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html

Simply select the button "Time zones..." for the time to convert from if you dont know a city with this timezone...
Select your city or choose again "Time zones..." to define the zone to convert to.

I stickyed it because we have a good ammount of events and a lot of people are asking for their local time...

For choosing the beginning timezone... you can use this one...
U.S.A. - Maine - Agusta

I know the last event happened in US Eastern time.

It all depends on who is putting on the event. Warlocke lives on easy coast, RK and I west coast. There are others too, not sure where Nilmer is at.

Maybe it'd be easier to coordinate things if there was a "shard time"... like you could say that the shard time is the same as GMT, or Central US... that way everyone would automatically know what time zone to use rather than memorizing where each GM lives.

so far I only know Warlocke=east, CEO=west, RK=west... everyone else is still a mystery. I didn't really plan on forcing everyone to reveal which timezone they were in.

Why we need this?
Simply deliver the time and the timezone of the time of an event...
If the GM want to deliver the time of the event in GMT: OK. Fine. But there will always be people who have to calculate.

So simply add the Timezone of your time you gave for the event and everyone is set.
Because everyone can use this converter...
;)

Moved to lobby because almost all events (playerrun) are announced there...
