Hello!
I've encountered a problem when trying to get some lumberjacking scripts. I also have a few questions.

1)Once I download a script, should I make any custom changes to it, so that it works properly? If so, how do I do it?
2) What are ''rails'' exactly, and how to i use em?
3)How do I know that the script isnt working with my shard due to its version, not because of the script itself?
4)All I want is a simple lumberjacking macro, where the char just walks around and chops wood, nothing else, no stacking, no runebooks, no carpentry. I need it to get the skill up. Any suggestions?
5) My friend uses a lumberjacking script, he says that they work only on certain locations. How do I know which location is the script made for?

Tram, Fel, and T2A, and Malas right? ;) That's where lumberjacking scripts work.

Trammel and Felucca = 2 facets of the "normal" world created by the Gem of Immortality
Trammel = Non-PVP. The trees are green.
Felucca PVP. Trees are "dead"/without leaves

T2A = The second Age. Accessible via shrines and their portals

Malas = the third world we got.

For details on those place, you can use this cracy thing called "google". It will give you hints like http://www.uoguide.com/Facets

Ok so I found a simple, yet effective macro, that works. Now i have a question. What kind of codes in the script are talking about time? Like walking time, chopping time etc.? Could you tell me?

Here is the macro:
Edit by Mod Orngrimm:
Dont repost others script.
Link it.
He is talking about Janus Lumberjacking script @ viewtopic.php?p=24202#24202

Another question.
Sometimes the script tries to chop wood that cannot be chopped, it says. ''It apears to be imune to your blow''. How do I tell it to move on once it gets to that? Because otherwise it is trying to chop it, instead of moving on to the next tree.

Sub scan checks for the messages in your journal. At the monent it checks for:
YOU_PUT_THE <--- Succesfull chop
YOU_FAIL_BLA_BLA_BLA <--- should check for a filed chop but with the BLA_BLA_BLA it will NOT trigger for sure.
THERE_IS_NOTHING <--- Checks for an empty tree

So just add a check like
  1. if It_apears_to_be_imune in #sysmsg
and it should detect it just fine...

Also i suggest to adjust the BLA_BLA_BLA to the correct triggerwords...

About the timeouts:
Normally longer timeouts are in the format [number]s
Like in lines like
move %1 %2 1 60s
target 10s

In other occasion when a shorter timeout is needed, Comments point your way like here:
set %overtime #scnt + 7 ; change this if its too long, its a timeout if the #sysmsg check fails

... or the command is a hint in itself:
wait 5
