EUO 1.6.0.333

Command "Key Delete" not functioning. But "Key Back" is deleting backwards like key delete used to.

Example code

Code:
  1.
  2. msg delete me
  3. for !i 1 9
  4.   key delete
  5. msg - delete failed now back - 1 2 3 4 5 6
  6. wait 10
  7. for !i 1 47
  8.   key back
  9. halt
  10.

The delete key should delete what is in front of the cursor, not what is behind it. It seems to be functioning that way for me, as it should.

I haven't changed anything. The key command is very basic so there is not much that can go wrong. Maybe it's a change in your client or config (maybe you have mapped delete to something)?

Instead of writing something into the console and then adjusting it by deleting pieces of text, maybe just write it into a variable, change it there and then write the completed thing to the console?

I can't think of an important reason to do it your way except maybe for intentionally stopping the move command while something is typed in the console.

Arrhh this maybe my issue, its been a long time since i used that command and the coordinates of the spot i used it in changed. When updating coordinates I must have put cursor at end instead of front.

I just used msg for an easy example of what I thought was a bug not my actual code . This is the probably cause, my mistake sorry.
